Does anyone know if the Lolita brand collabs shown at the Japan Nord fashion show in Paris were available or sale? If so, does anyone have them? My friend and I were in Japan recently and most stores were sold out of their hello kitty items. We are in charge of the 35th anniversary fashion show at royal/t this Saturday and it's last minute but if you can sell your items to us or allow us to borrow them, we'd be willing to pay for shipping.

If anyone knows anyone with these items please pass this post along to them. We really wanted to show off Lolita fashion at the show along side everything else.

Dudes, wow. This is.. HUGE.
So today the cultural coordinator of the NCC comes to speak to me... they have to organize a conference with the School Board f in regards to teaching courses for Aboriginal communities. One of them would be culture and art - a big staple into Native American Life.

So she comes to me because they needed to round up 3 artisan that are proficient in different styles of Native Art in order to put together, and teach the handful of teachers [who work on reserves] a class that they can pass to children from grade 1-11. We sat with the entire cultural department- which is comprised of West Coast, East Coast, Metis, Central American, and Plains Natives- to figure out the candidacy of the applying artisans, and what they could teach [or have the capacity to].

I was flattered that everyone was trying to pull at me specifically to teach the art of their style- but the West Coast folk on the board LOVED my work- and pressed the fact that I was the only candidate that could actually DO the art properly. The immediately put me up for candidacy to pass a simple art instruction on the basic design of West Coast art. Since I work with a variety of children and adults in different ages, I could handle the “hard” group of grades 1-3. So now I am putting together a simple one-class course that lets kids make a simple West Coast themed image with the animal of their liking. During which, they learn about shapes, positive and negative space, and basic colors.

This is awesome on so many levels. From the resume, to the personal. I’m just so happy! I know EXACTLY what I’m going to do!
