Pretty mini glass bottles~ (*0*)~ (the fake miniature roses are the same ones Mikhail is holding in the old VDay pic i took.) The tallest bottle is about 4.5in and the smallest about 2.5in :3 Got these a couple of weeks back. Didn't really have time to post them tho. So here they are with everything else! xD


The books i ordered arrived! xD (at least the ones from Chapters did.. lol.) + TF stuffs + new cute perfume~ haha.

From Chapters.ca: The DaVinci Code, The Silver Vortex and Cosmic Consciousness (not shown coz i had forgotten i had stuffed it in my bag. lol.) I know i'm late with the Code, but meh. I'm in no hurry. That and i wanted to get the illustrated one. :D And DithDith! Lookie!! it's the fourth book for The Tall Stones! lol.

I'm not really a perfume/fragrance person--overly sensitive nose. But the cute! It was too much! D: and then they had to tell me it came with a charm bracelet too! INSTANT DEATH! DD:
 
It's actually from the Harajuku Lovers Fragrance line. I liked the dolls for Love (hearts!) and Girl (Alice-themed)... but liked the scent of Angel (smells really sweet~~), Music (kinda fruity) and Love (kinda flowery). Baby kinda smelled like Johnson's Baby Oil/Powder. LOL. And G was, i think, too strong or something... (I know Music and Love were a bit strong...) BUT anyway~ They are all so cute! And funny, i ended up getting the one in a school girl outfit (PLAID! xD) and with stars in her hair~~ hahaha~

I LoL'd when I opened the box. The lid reads: "A Fatal Attraction to Cuteness"

this semester has been really hectic! >_< but it's been really productive, creative-wise. :3 took a Digital Media class and learned to use a mac. xD so ive sat in front of Photoshop CS3 and iMovie a lot. i've posted up some of the stuff on my DA page, if anyone is interested. i'm still debating if i want to post up my stop-motion animation on YouTube... hmmm....

in other class-related news, i took a Mythological Narratives class too. AND MY GOD WAS IT AWESOME. Ross Laird has got to be one of the most amazing people i've ever met. :) the class itself is extremely interesting and i cannot stress this enough! think about it this way: take a story, any story, and you'll be able to trace it far back to every culture ever to walk the earth. or take a concept. say, take 'the year 2008'. question: how sure are you that it IS 2008 now? our current calendar isn't accurate, and who started counting and from when? how sure are we that the events these people took to be 'the beggining of time as we know it' are accurate? time keeping or rather, the concept we have of time now is a myth. it is a convention. and most of us have forgotten that it isn't reliably real.

in other news non-class related... my birthday has come and gone... i'm another year older. wow. then again, i'll just forget how old i am anyway. lol. <--has literally stopped counting when she reached legal age. XD

One of the most amazing things happened to me this September... it all started when GC linked Dilazirk's photocomics in her journal.

so i go and read Dila's TF photocomics, and they are totally awesome. (gods, his photoshop skillz! O_O) and i go comment and stuff...

and then this random person, makes a comment on my DA page. he is one of Dila's readers as well...



and that explains the whole 'awesome random kindness' part...

i got Mao the other day... and i'm still totally in awe. i mean, how many people do that? i may get the urge to give someone something, but wow... to actually do it? and he's not even the artist i'm watching, but just a fellow reader! *0* i think it's amazing how it all happened though.

i feel very lucky. i am also very thankful and extremely grateful. and hope that good things come to Snukastyle. this is the first time this has ever happened to me. i still don't know how to describe this feeling--it's not a hyper kind of thanks, it's an awed type of happy.

so, i finally give up and search ebay for a replacement necklace. (see, my pretty heart-wings one broke a wing >_>) i really do love that necklace, so i decided it was time i actually do something about it... that is, short of having it custom made in silver which will cost me an arm and leg (here, at least. OHASIA,HOWILOVEYOUANDYOURCHEAPLABOR~♥)

Especialy in my previous/current two weeks of hell (In A Nutshell: home alone + hot water valve bursts @5am + flood + falls INTO hot water in bathroom floor (lucky i didn't hit my head) + NO SLEEP + new idiotic management + 911 + panic/scared + camping out in the living room + OMG i have work until 1am ON THE SAME DAY + general sadness + totally broke + pack of haunting wolves + they finally changed the carpet + i HAVE 2 WEEKS worth of laundry + seeing stuff)

EDIT: no, i did not /buy/ him. he was a /surprise/. aka gift. <3

the perfect way to celebrate?

just got home from watching the stage play version of The Hobbit. :3

for a small theatre (240 seating capacity), it was an awesome performance. x3 the guy playing Bilbo Baggins was really, REALLY into the role. x3 and i mean, for a cast of EIGHT to be playing 28 roles between them (granted Bilbo and Thorin did not have extra roles since they were always together and almost always on the stage), it was a very, very awesome performance. and did i mention Gollum? VERY convincing voice and acting. and no, the actress--yes, girl--playing the role wasn't bald nor did she leave a slimy trail, but she DID leave an impression. ;3 (gods that voice! xD soooo Gollum-like!)

So if you are in Vancouver right now, i say GO SEE IT! (and students--yes, even us poor, struggling college kids--get a discount). x3

when was the last time you bought a cd?

highschool? heck, i don't even remember. (that album from MassCom in Uni doesn't count! xD --speaking of, Tet! i still want a copy~~~)

i just got Alisha's Attic's old album Illumina in the mail today. i remember being half-desperate and quite frustrated that i couldn't find this album at the local music store all those years ago... ah~ such limited resources then!

i don't regret buying this now, after so many years. i still like the sound of these girls' voices and their music. :3 and how long has it been since i've bought a cd whose packaging amused me and made me go squee anyway? x3 probably never! (okay, so Eraserheads' Fruitcake is an exception. xD and maybe Linkin Park's boxed Meteora...god how i drooled. xDD)

i got the japanese release of Illumina, so i dunno if this is unique to that release. see, the case is clear, and inside the part where the back leaflet is supposed to go, there is NO leaflet, but instead, there are confetti stars. the sparkley kind. yep. you read that right. SHINEH STARS~~ <3 totally up my alley~ x3 (i dont have a pic at the moment, but hopefully, my IR would stop being a bitch soon and let me transfer the pic i took with my phone. >_>)

anyway~ it's really amusing and it made me smile. :3

i actually still want to get a copy of Japanese Dream, their Japan-only album (i liked one of the songs there, at least the only one i could find a copy of online looooong ago...). but for now, i'll be happy with Illumina. xP

i remember one (or two) of my highschool male classmates used to laugh at me for mentioning that i owned a copy of Alisha's Attic's first album (Alisha Rules The World). I never mentioned the name again in front of them, but never abandoned the music i liked. to hell with those stupid boys. the lyrics and beats were good (and pretty insane). xD i guess in a way, you could say that this was as far as i could get into english pop music (sans Backstreet Boys, since hey, it was during my generation after all). All of the cds that followed that was only one of two types and then anime music. you'd laugh if you saw my cd collection on the shelf. you'd see a whole row of japanese anime osts then get hit by Jay-Z, Eminem, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit... *rofl* you'd wonder if the person living in that room has a split personality...or a brother. xD;; (i still love my cds tho. i get this nostalgic feeling every time i hear those songs...)

yeah, so my 2hr trip became a 3hr trip. and the last (3rd) bus i took to my destination DID NOT TELL ME WHERE TO GET OFF. asfddsfaf@##$3hgjdf! >_<

i had nicely (not sarcasm) asked/told him that i did not know where i should get off when i got on the bus. and he checks his map and sez, yeah sure, i'll tell you. BUT after 40 FRICKIN' MINUTES and noticing that we were back where the shops were, i'm like "you passed my stop...you didn't tell me" and he's like "oh, i thought you had gotten off already."

LIKE WTF. O_o

i know i'm small and easy to miss, but HOW in MOUNTAINOUS WEST VAN can you miss a girl in a PINK hat, overly large WHITE headphones and a RED PLAID coat who is SITTING IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR'S LINE OF SIGHT! >_> (you know, he DOES turn his head to check the people getting OFF on the other end of the bus when he stops... i cannot comprehend his idiocy. =__= )

oh, and i don't really care if he gave me an extra bus pass so i can get on the next bus home. he still wasted MY WHOLE DAY. *STABS* and he had the gall to tell me that "there's another bus that goes to Caulfield at 3:10p across the street at Park Royal" LIKE WTF. IT'S FRICKIN' 3pm YOU DOLT! I already spent 3 HOURS trying to get here and you want to go bother my friend (who was expecting me at 2PM) at what, 4 in the afternoon??? >_< GODS. (that reminds me... i wanted to call Translink to complain *ohohohohoho~*)

so i finally FINALLY got to go the Richmond Night Market last Sunday... and enjoyed and squee-ed at the amazingly huge takoyaki being cooked in front of you. xD

Beru-chan (gishkishenh) and i went back on Monday, since it was a holiday and went food tripping. xD what was nice about monday was that there were obviously fewer people! so it was easier to look around and get food too~ x3

so we tried different stuff and the asparagus wrapped with bacon was HEAVEN *___*

then we found the taiyaki stall. *____* and wow~ were they GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD~~~~~~~~ <3 *cue neko otaku-ness* (we should have a picture taken! xD) i love red beans and red bead-flavoured things, but these were...these were warm and and and nummy and and warm and *melts* they were just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooooooood! *____________*

so we'll be back to sample other things (I STILL WANT SQUID TENTACLES! T^T!) until the end of the Night Market Season! xDD (bye-bye paycheck ^^;;)

okay, so not really. just not at my regular NORMAL pick-up post office branch that's a block from me. i mean, how stupid is that? 7/11 is like, 3~4 blocks for my address!?!!! =__=;;;

anyway... luckily, mama called to say that she wanted to go to that huge dollar shop near Lansdowne Mall right as i was about to lock the front door! xD so i got a free ride to the uber far post office pick up place. xD

i had two notices with me, one of which i was hoping would be the plushie trade with Wifey with the random pair of MSD clothes i bought from her. the other one, i expected to be Rin's wig. (and no, for those awaiting his arrival, his head's still not here yet ; ^; ah~ the wait! it killlsssss~)

so i get there, make small talk with the nice lady, and then, she tells me "wait, i think i saw another package for you... let me check."

and i'm like "oooh~ okay." altho i was wondering what other things i was expecting... and there wasn't really anything....

and then she comes out from the storage room and places the box in front of me.

i've actually been thinking about this ever since i met Selmada's cute little bjd girl Miaka...
i was never into "Tines" (the 'little kid' bjds that are 30cm and smaller) but having seen Miaka and being able to babysit her for about a month kinda changed that... mind tho that i never plan on getting a Tiny myself, it just made me more aware of how adorably sweet they really are. and yes, taking care of one is like taking care of a little kid. :3

and here are the new ones from our first photoshoot! x3 (please bear in mind that he does not usually dress this way... he prefers pants and plain shirts. but Mi-chan's a good sport when in come to dressing up for photoshoots. x3 he thinks it's amusing how i gush over him. xDD) [dec. 18, 2006]

err...

i seem to keep on going out of my way (maybe not really since the mall is right across campus xD) to a particular machine every chance i get. (O_o) it's the one with the little guns and hand cuffs.... i've always wanted the mini handcuffs, but end up gettung those cheap plastic keychain guns instead every time i try (T_T)...BUT i have been lucky before where when i did get one of the cheap guns, another gun fell out and it was the gold-plated metal one with the working trigger and it 'clicks' when you fire. lol. xP

anyway~~ last week, i finally got handcuffs! x3 i was at Toys-R-Us, (melting at the cuteness of stuffed animals~) and i discovered that they had that vending machine there too. (i usually go to the one at Zellers) BUT here's the thing, the machine ate my 1$ coin. (.__.) i was like, 'okaaay...' but i told the lady at the counter and she gave me a dollar back, so i just went back to Zellers and tried there. and lo and behold! cute silver handcuffs fell out! x3 so cute~~ i dunno what i'd do with them tho... ^^;; (btw, i also have gold ones one from yesterday's 'trial' of the machine at toys-r-us. xD haha~)

Total OT: ah~ i wish i had the money to get Gin a body, then i'd have someone who won't complain would be willing to crossdress and cosplay even if it is ooc. xD
