Saisho ni itte oku…  This post may contain spoilers and uber bias. I am not an expert on all Transformers Timelines, BUT I sure as heck grew up watching the whole orginal series!

To summarize, there are a handful of interesting points in the movie but all of these were overshadowed by the trash humor and badly written script. I feel so sad that i am not looking forward to the DVD. It had troubled me when i saw the trailer and didn't feel as excited as I was for the first movie. Watching TF II has confirmed my fears. My only consolation now is that I went home loving Movie!Soundwave. (Saw his toy first and was all 'wtf?weird!' but i now take it back. He is cool. xD)

I may have missed things here, but meh. Better to post this asap after all. A word of advice before i go, Turn Off Your Brain When You Go Watch This Movie. Or better yet, Pull The Plug to be safe. :D

this semester has been really hectic! >_< but it's been really productive, creative-wise. :3 took a Digital Media class and learned to use a mac. xD so ive sat in front of Photoshop CS3 and iMovie a lot. i've posted up some of the stuff on my DA page, if anyone is interested. i'm still debating if i want to post up my stop-motion animation on YouTube... hmmm....

in other class-related news, i took a Mythological Narratives class too. AND MY GOD WAS IT AWESOME. Ross Laird has got to be one of the most amazing people i've ever met. :) the class itself is extremely interesting and i cannot stress this enough! think about it this way: take a story, any story, and you'll be able to trace it far back to every culture ever to walk the earth. or take a concept. say, take 'the year 2008'. question: how sure are you that it IS 2008 now? our current calendar isn't accurate, and who started counting and from when? how sure are we that the events these people took to be 'the beggining of time as we know it' are accurate? time keeping or rather, the concept we have of time now is a myth. it is a convention. and most of us have forgotten that it isn't reliably real.

so if you ever get the chance, take the Myth class at Kwantlen! xD (and the Digital Media one too!)

in other news non-class related... my birthday has come and gone... i'm another year older. wow. then again, i'll just forget how old i am anyway. lol. <--has literally stopped counting when she reached legal age. XD

AND RATCHET IS GETTING A HENKEI... PRIMUS I WISH THIS IS NORMAL RATCHET AND NOT ENCORE-LIKE.... because Wheeljack will need someone to fix him up after he blows himself up (and possibly everyone)...again... that and i still have mixed feelings about Animated Ratch... he's too...uh...i dunno... strange? (i still like him and his grouchy self, but i'd like to see non-Encore-funny-looking Ratchet too! (random: we were doing inventory in hardware today...kept seeing the word "Ratchet" and of course, wrenches. xD)

highlight of the day: finally picked up Animated Starscream. been wanting him for the past 2 weeks. xD haha. (now MP Screamer won't be the only Decepticon on the premises... then again, he's still technically 'alone' --just an extra self, you know. (new level of 'talking to yourself' HA.)

now, if Dollshe suddenly announces that they are back i am screwed. because Gin needs to come home because he has clothes waiting for him, and i still owe Rilly $300 for the idiot Wolf's body. he's so lucky i'm not giving up on him >_> that and i'd feel terribly guilty if i back out anyway. geh.

all in all, a good day. just pathetically broke again. xD

maybe i should start buying lotto tickets like my uncle... >_>; *goes to bed*

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

This has GOT to be the MOST AWESOME surprise-thing EVER.

Especialy in my previous/current two weeks of hell (In A Nutshell: home alone + hot water valve bursts @5am + flood + falls INTO hot water in bathroom floor (lucky i didn't hit my head) + NO SLEEP + new idiotic management + 911 + panic/scared + camping out in the living room + OMG i have work until 1am ON THE SAME DAY + general sadness + totally broke + pack of haunting wolves + they finally changed the carpet + i HAVE 2 WEEKS worth of laundry + seeing stuff)

EDIT: no, i did not /buy/ him. he was a /surprise/. aka gift. <3

so yeah, re-watching old G1 eps... and one thing led to another... and i swear i'll cry if they do a classic Bumblebee for the Masterpiece series. T^T

btw, took a random quiz, i end up being Jazz (Meister).

also realized i'm really biased towards the G1 look. nothing beats the G1 look. (even if the movie was made of awesome) and Optimus Prime really reminds me of my father... it gets scary sometimes... ^^;

oh, and yes, i have seen Ironman. and yes, Sousuke, it is armor-lust and i totally agree with it. xD
